Sony officially announced the release of their new QX Series "Lens-Style Cameras" that intends to redefine mobile photography. This clip-on camera gives smartphones the boost they've been searching for, allowing owners to take photos worthy of a full-sized digital camera. Sony basically packed all the usual camera inner workings within the lens, allowing you to use the lens the way you would a full-sized camera. You can shoot videos, snap photos, zoom, program settings, and play with auto-focus, all while syncing the DSC-QX100 to iOS and Android via Wi-Fi. While you can certainly attach the gadget to your phone, you can also use it by itself through the wireless connection allowing you to stick the lens in tight places while checking the possible photo out on your iPhone's screen.
