With the best architects and interior designers at their disposal, private home and building owners spare no expense to make their structure the best of the best. From sky-high infinity pools in Monaco to 200-guest ballrooms, this list from Lincoln Property Company rounds up the top 10 most expensive apartments from all around the world.
Coming out on top is the $400 million 30,000-square-foot Sky Penthouse in the Odeon Tower in Monaco. No big deal, but the infinity pool has a waterslide that makes this apartment look more like a water park.
In second place at $237 million is the 17,000-square-foot penthouse at Hyde Park in London. With bullet-proof glass windows and special force guards patrolling the perimeter, this one is pretty ideal for a high-powered government official who needs a little more protection.
The $125 million New York penthouse at the Pierre Hotel is next, with four adjoining terraces and suites for visitors.
The $115 million One 57 Winter Garden Penthouse in New York is in fourth place, with a private yoga studio and 200-guest ballroom.
Trailing not too far behind at $100 million is the City Spire Penthouse in New York, which is apparently the highest terraced home in the US.
New York strikes again with the $95 million 432 Park Avenue Penthouse in sixth place. The outdoor terrace can hold 300 guests, which would make for some pretty epic parties.
In seventh place is London's South Bank Tower Penthouse at $90 million. Overlooking the London Eye, the home is right on the River Thames and is on its way to completion later this year.
Hong Kong breaks onto the list in eighth place with its $60 million Opus Apartment Penthouse, which was planned by the infamous Frank Gehry.
Second to last is the three story $47 million Clermont Residence Super Penthouse in Singapore, which has a rooftop garden.
Last but not least, the $47 million residence at 56 Leonard in New York rounds out the top 10. With a structure made almost entirely of glass, the home features floor-to-ceiling windows and a lap pool.
