‘Elementi' In Beverly Hills - It's All About The Views!

With the main inspiration taken from the bridges and waterfalls of the Pacific Coast Highway, designer Micheal Chen created a beatifully sculptured home finished with natural elemnts and California charm with an Asian twist.

According to toptenrealestatedeals.com, the remarkable home located in the ultra-exclusive Beverly Hills enclave of Trousdale Estates, Elementi has recently been listed at $65 million, or the Bitcoin equivalent.

Not a stranger to drama or luxury, Chen’s design skill is borne through his extensive world travels, as a set designer for Warner Brothers, furniture designer in Milan, theme park designer in Hong Kong and luxury home designer and developer across Southern California.

The façade of Elementi displays Michael’s inspiration in the bridge entry to a large pivoting front door over water that cascades down past a dining room suspended over a lower courtyard, and then continues into an atrium on the lower level.

Measuring 18,000 square feet, the home has seven bedrooms and fourteen baths, a great room dressed in marble with views to the ocean, an atrium open from the roof to the lower floor, a chef’s kitchen and butler’s pantry designed so cooking takes place away from the clean, minimalistic lines of the main kitchen.

The master suite cantilevers over a balcony and has two walls of glass capturing the views, along with dual baths clad in marble and one with a skylight. Elementi is the only home in Trousdale Estates that is permitted for a daylight basement, which is accessed via a Venetian plastered spiral staircase.

The basement/ground floor is designed around entertaining and its pièce de résistance: a 150-year-old imported Mediterranean olive tree in the atrium. There is also a 2,000-bottle wine cellar, a wellness center and gym, office and a home theatre.

One of Southern California’s most photogenic homes, Elementi is listed with Michael Chen and Aaron Kirman of Aaron Kirman Group at Compass, Los Angeles.
