Regenerative Luxury: Evolving A New Wellness Design, Combining Intentionality of East and West

EYWA

Back in the old days, about 10 years ago, it was believed that the definitions of luxury included four strategies: craftsmanship, legacy, scarcity and worth.  The question we all asked back then was how do we define worth? It is, and remains, a nebulous concept — we know it when we see it, but it is always hard to research, and much more complex to define. But now, the UUHNW culture, due to the changing needs and wants of the luxury customer profile, has added other strategies that somehow combine worth, but are still nebulous to define.

Today, the UUHNW consumers are less prone to keeping up with the Kardashians; they are more independent, and, as Barak Hirschowitz, co-founder of the ILHA (The International Luxury Hotel Association), “...they no longer rely on brochures. They know what to expect — they are informed, independent, and demand authenticity, and a local immersive experience.”

This trend, one of many, has led many luxury hotels to rethink their approach to customer service and design. Travelers, and further,  home-dwellers are also seeking not just adventuresome luxury experiences, but also a calming peace, as both adventurers and peace-seekers see time as the ultimate luxury. Beyond that is something else: a cornerstone gaining substantial ground, the wellness experience, highlighting the regenerative nature of both the adventurous and peaceful life.

Nowadays,  since the global wellness economy surpasses $5 trillion, one question that reshapes how we live is can our living spaces and use of time can actively make us healthier, so that we may enjoy both adventure and peace?

Certain real estate projects, such as EYWA TREE OF LIFE, are among the first to define the healing nature of wellness, as this project combines both the architecture and meditative intention, complementing both the practice of the East and West.

Alex Zagrebelny, Co-Founder & CEO of R.Evolution, the development company that created EYWA, recently said,

“We live in a world where cities are losing their authenticity and the soulfulness of architecture, where kilometres of concrete have separated us from each other and from nature. At Eywa, we combine the best achievements of two civilizations - the ancient Vedic and the modern technocratic - to create buildings that serve as tools in people’s lives, making them healthier, more balanced, and more connected.

Eywa is a global brand redefining sustainable living through architecture that nurtures health, well-being, and prosperity. Each building is a living ecosystem, uniting ancient wisdom and modern technology to harmonize regeneration.”

Eywa Tree of Life will also be the first building in the world to feature grounding crystals embedded into its structure, and the first building in the region to integrate EMFIS®, the most advanced low-EMF architectural system designed to enhance mental clarity, regulate circadian rhythm and support restorative sleep for its residents
