Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi at Manele Bay loves your skin. Or at least cares enough about it to come out with a new line of bath products featuring locally-sourced ingredients and beneficial vitamins. The new in-room amenity’s key ingredient is the kukui nut, which is known for protecting skin from the earth’s natural elements. It is also high in vitamins A, E and F. Called ‘āina, meaning land that nourishes, the line features 89 ml bottles of after-sun cooling lotion, shampoo and conditioner, moisturizer, body wash and bars, an unscented glycerin face bar and bath salts. The line was produced exclusively for the resort by LATHER, creator of bath products made from unique, natural ingredients and pure essential oils.

Brought by Polynesian settlers, the kukui tree is the state tree of Hawai‘i, and the nuts used for the line are all sourced locally from Alberta’s Farm. The body soap contains Hawaiian granulated sugar—which acts as a humectant, binding moisture to the skin—and sustainable palm oil. Other products use shea butter, awapuhi (Hawaiian white ginger) extracts, cucumber and pineapple. Guests can also find a selection of the bath amenities at The Spa at Manele used in various treatments or at the counter, available for purchase.
