Sunset Marquis Hotel is catering to Tesla Model S owners by adding new seven high power connectors and two J-1772 universal charging stations on property. Offering more than twice the power of regular chargers, Telsas and electric cars can power-up at these stations while guests are enjoying a quick bite at Cavatina or during overnight stays.

The Tesla High Power Connectors are installed on a 240-volt circuit, speeding up the time it takes to fully charge the vehicles. Model S can be charged overnight in about 5 hours and will offer 265 miles on a single charge. This service is complimentary to hotel guests, while Tesla owners visiting the property are offered a one-hour charge on the house. Those dropping in for a meal with an electric vehicle can charge their car for $10 (plus valet fees).
