Aston Martin has unveiled Valen, a dramatic new limited-production V12 supercar created by Q by Aston Martin, the marque’s bespoke personalization service. Introduced in Monterey, California, Valen is described by Aston Martin as the world’s most powerful front-engined production car and the most powerful front-engined V12 in the company’s 113-year history.
With an 850PS, 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 producing 1,000Nm of torque, Valen delivers extraordinary performance while placing equal emphasis on weight reduction, driver engagement and handcrafted design. Production will be strictly limited to 150 examples worldwide, with first deliveries scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
The name Valen is derived from the Latin valens, meaning “strong” or “powerful,” continuing Aston Martin’s long-standing tradition of V-named special models. The project was developed through Q by Aston Martin and the company’s newly formed Special Vehicle Operations department, following earlier limited-production creations including Valour, Valiant and DBR22.
Performance With a Lighter Footprint
At the heart of Valen is Aston Martin’s most powerful version of its 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12. The engine produces 850PS and 1,000Nm of torque from 2,500rpm, sending the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 214 mph.

Power is complemented by a specially calibrated eight-speed ZF transmission incorporating shift strategies developed through Aston Martin’s Vantage GT4 racing program. Sport, Sport+ and Track driving modes alter the character of the powertrain and throttle response, allowing Valen to transition from spirited road driving to more focused track performance.
Weight reduction was a central element of the program. Valen sheds up to 110kg compared with Aston Martin’s core V12 platform through extensive use of carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium and magnesium. An optional lightweight package saves an additional 16.9kg through components including machined aluminum suspension hardware and titanium chassis bolts.
Lightweight magnesium wheels are standard, paired with specially developed Pirelli P Zero R tires. Aston Martin has also incorporated Pirelli’s Cyber Tyre technology, which supplies real-time tire information to the vehicle’s electronic control systems to help optimize braking, traction and stability.

The chassis receives extensive revisions, including model-specific springs, Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers, a solid-mounted rear subframe and specially calibrated steering, braking and electronic systems. Carbon-ceramic brakes measure 410mm at the front and 360mm at the rear.
Adding another layer to the experience is a bespoke titanium exhaust system. Its four outlets use 3D-printed titanium components, while upper outlets remain open and lower outlets are electronically valved according to the selected drive mode. The result is a V12 soundtrack specifically tuned to increase the car’s sense of drama and occasion.
A More Extreme Aston Martin Design
Valen represents a significant departure from Aston Martin’s familiar front-engined design language. Its full-carbon-fiber body features sharply sculpted surfaces, deeply recessed headlights, an aggressively shaped grille and a plunging bonnet.
Functional aerodynamics are integrated throughout the design. Enlarged side vents channel air around the body, while vortex generators along the sills help reduce lift. At the rear, a full-width light bar sits beneath an upswept tail that functions as a Gurney flap, generating additional downforce without requiring a conventional large rear wing.
Replacing the traditional rear window and trunk lid is a solid tailgate incorporating an aerodynamic wing. Beneath it is a 170-liter luggage area that can be specified with a bespoke Touring Pack luggage set.
The show car wears Satin Andromeda Red, a Q Ultra-developed finish combining deep red, copper and golden highlights with shifting blue undertones. Customers can also specify exposed carbon fiber in satin or gloss finishes, with Q by Aston Martin offering the opportunity to develop bespoke carbon-fiber tints.
A Bespoke Interior

Inside, Valen adopts a more focused cockpit designed around the driver. A slim, angled center console uses advanced 3D-printed components and incorporates a performance-oriented switchpack derived from the Valhalla.
Buyers can choose between newly developed Sports Plus seats, balancing support with long-distance comfort, or lightweight carbon-fiber performance seats for a more focused driving experience.
Personalization remains central to the Valen experience. Interior specifications include Semi-Aniline leather and Alcantara or full Semi-Aniline leather, with five material configurations ranging from Monotone and Duotone to Tritone and Driver Focused. Customers can further personalize quilting, contrast accents and anodized details.
Throughout the cabin, 3D-printed elements echo the cooling vents of the exterior, while the reclined central touchscreen integrates more naturally into the pared-back cockpit.
With its combination of a formidable V12, substantial weight savings, dramatic carbon-fiber design and extensive personalization, Aston Martin Valen occupies the increasingly rare territory of the bespoke, limited-production supercar. With only 150 examples planned worldwide, its exclusivity is built into the car from the beginning.
