This incredible flying car is the Maverick, an obviously eclectic vehicle that is FAA-certified as an S-LSA, which means that it is classified as a special, light sport aircraft. As an automobile, it can be driven on any public road in the United States, as the manufacturer reports that a ?number of Mavericks? already are licensed and legal in Florida.

The vehicle with wings also is FAA-certifiable as an E-AB, which is an experimental, amateur-built aircraft. Further, it can be flown with no weight-limit restrictions if operated by a private pilot, under a special certification. lltitle=Maverick Flying Car### llcontent=The Maverick, an FAA-certified S-LSA, is a $94,000 light sport aircraft that is equipped with a 190-horsepower, injected, 2.5-liter engine by Suburu.
