Like many of taste and distinction, I’m bored to exhaustion with the bland status quo that continues to paint the automotive landscape 50 shades of grey and white. The current lemming mentality of being collectively hypnotized by neutrals lacks all imagination, style, and the joy that drivers once had for a spectrum of hues that have gradually become extinct in auto showroom color options.
So it’s with pleasure that we applaud Lexus for raising the profile and exclusivity of its Special Appearance Package for two grades of its IS 350 F: the F Sport Design and F Sport. And it’s a true head-turner, making bland car owners green with envy.
New for 2027 is the Lexus IS Special Appearance Package. Based on the IS 350 F Sport, the package introduces a striking green exterior color called Envious and 19-inch black BBS forged alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin features black NuLuxe-trimmed seats with Ultrasuede inserts, accented by green stitching and satin chrome-colored trim.
The result? IS continues to deliver the athletic performance, premium craftsmanship and bold design that define the sport sedan. And because the package introduces exclusive design elements inside and out — including the striking new Envious green exterior color and distinctive interior accents — you can actually locate it in a parking lot sea of blah.
It comes equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 311 horsepower, a sport-tuned chassis, and a comprehensive suite of standard safety and convenience features.
