California Pizza Kitchen has built its identity around bringing globally inspired flavors into a relaxed California dining experience, and the brand’s newest menu additions continue that evolution. While CPK may be best known for its inventive pizzas, the newest entrées show the restaurant expanding beyond its signature crusts and leaning into hearth oven cooking, layered flavors, and fresh seasonal ingredients.
Leading the new additions is the Hearth Oven Short Rib Lasagna, a rich and savory dish that is designed for comfort-food cravings. Slow-braised short rib is layered between sheets of pasta with bubbling cheese and sauce, then finished in the restaurant’s signature hearth oven for extra caramelization.
For guests looking for something vegetarian, the Hearth Oven Spinach, Artichoke & Mushroom Lasagna delivers a lighter but equally satisfying option. The earthy mushrooms and creamy artichokes balance well against the spinach, while the hearth oven adds crispy edges and golden texture.
Another standout is the Filet Skewers with Chimichurri Duo, which brings a steakhouse-style approach into the CPK menu. Tender filet pieces arrive skewered and paired with two chimichurri variations that add herbaceous brightness and a touch of acidity to the rich beef.

The Peruvian Pan-Roasted Chicken introduces Latin-inspired flavors with a more vibrant profile. The chicken is juicy and well-seasoned, carrying smoky and citrus-forward notes. The dish reflects CPK’s long-standing interest in pulling inspiration from global cuisines while still keeping everything approachable.
Seafood also gets a refresh with the Cedar Plank Salmon over Thai Crispy Rice Salad. The salmon is smoky and tender from the cedar plank preparation, while the crispy rice salad underneath adds crunch, herbs, and bright Thai-inspired flavors.
Alongside the entrées, CPK is leaning into spritz season with a new collection of sparkling cocktails made with La Marca Prosecco. The Lavender Lemon Spritz is floral and citrusy with a refreshing finish, while the Blueberry Elderflower Spritz is fruit-forward. The Hugo Spritz brings a more European-style aperitif vibe with herbal notes while the Aperol Spritz remains classic for guests craving something crisp and bittersweet.
What makes the new menu additions work is that they still feel unmistakably California Pizza Kitchen. The dishes offer comforting flavors while introducing ingredients and inspirations that feel more global.
