The next level of connectivity arrives at the luxury residences, marking a new evolution in Smart Community living.
CONTINUUM luxury residences in Miami Beach is pioneering the latest innovation in residential technology, becoming the first Smart Community in Florida to integrate Hotwire’s most advanced bandwidth technology for superior connectivity and exceptional internet speeds. Hotwire is a leading provider of fiber-optic internet services.
Vitalis, one of the nation’s leaders in telecommunications solutions, recognized the need to develop a more consolidated and reliable solution for residents, one that would significantly enhance connectivity throughout the property. Given the sheer volume of homes serviced, Vitalis was able to leverage its buying power to establish a wholesale market solution for Continuum owners.
In addition to a comprehensive upgrade to television and internet services within individual residences, the property also required a more reliable BDA life-safety system, as required by state fire code. The system is designed to ensure uninterrupted in-building communication for both first responders and residents during an emergency.

A formal RFP bidding process was conducted by Vitalis among at least seven leading national and regional telecommunications and internet service providers. The Continuum board was presented with an analysis of each proposal, after which management accepted Vitalis’ recommendation for the provider best suited to meet the overall needs of the property.
Hotwire was awarded the contract based on its strong reputation for working with notable luxury residential properties throughout the region, as well as the convenience of fiber-optic infrastructure already installed throughout Continuum’s common areas.
“We have elevated our telecommunications to new heights, so we are an even more powerful and robust connected community,” says Rishi Idnani, Managing Director at Continuum. “We liked the value-added product line that Hotwire offered for our residences and property, which now proves to be a much more streamlined operation that we can monitor more efficiently. The bulk-service offering we have adopted for both towers will also pass cost savings on to our residents as part of the monthly HOA fee that incorporates the Hotwire service.”
Instead of satellite dishes previously used by some owners, residences are now being offered 4K streaming boxes for Smart TVs, supported by a dedicated app operating over each home’s wireless network. In addition to a premium channel lineup, the upgraded television service features a community channel that management can use for property-wide announcements and important notices.

The app will also allow residents to make reservations at Continuum amenities, including the restaurant, tennis center and beach club.
Residences in both the South and North Towers will benefit from high-speed internet powered by new Wi-Fi 7 routers in each home, capable of managing a significantly larger number of connected devices. Built-in network redundancy is designed to help maintain connectivity even in the event of an outage. Continuum management offices and common areas will also receive upgraded internet and television connectivity.
“Continuum needed a holistic solution, as one universal service that runs seamlessly across both towers, to reflect the premium condominium community and superior quality of homeownership the property is known for,” said Maz Khan, President of Vitalis Smart Communities. “Continuum is now the number one Smart Community in the region, with the most advanced internet and telecommunications service in South Florida, if not the entire state. Our partnership on this project reflects our mission at Vitalis: empowering communities to unlock technology solutions that enhance value, reliability and resident satisfaction.”
Vitalis has also engaged Connectivity Wireless to install a Cellular DAS (Distributed Antenna System), a specialized network of spatially separated antennas designed to improve cellular signal coverage and capacity inside buildings and throughout outdoor common areas. The system acts much like a property’s own cell tower, helping eliminate dead zones that can disrupt cellular connectivity around the Continuum grounds.

As part of its dedicated service agreement, Hotwire will also provide an on-site team of technicians at the Continuum property, available around the clock to address connectivity issues and assist residents.
Continuum’s transition to Hotwire is expected to be completed by summer 2027.
