At the heart of the experience is the resort’s celebrated garden-to-table philosophy. Corkfire curates a contemporary California menu inspired by the region’s abundance of fresh seasonal ingredients. The local flavors and the vibrant regional wine scene are showcased throughout the evening. Dining beneath the open sky, surrounded by gardens and rolling fairways, transforms dinner into an unforgettable taste of the Temecula Valley.

Chef Jonathan Alcala’s live-fire cuisine is complemented by an equally expressive beverage program led by Beverage Supervisor Eric Ruiter. His smoking cocktails and local wine pours bring creativity, personality, and a touch of theatrics to the table.
Since joining Corkfire in 2020, Ruiter has grown from Lead Bartender to Beverage Supervisor, drawing on more than a decade of bartending experience in New York City and San Diego. His passion for wine has also led him to earn his Introductory Sommelier certification, adding another layer of depth to the resort’s beverage program.
For Ruiter, a memorable drink is about more than what is in the glass. He weaves storytelling into each cocktail and wine selection, sharing the inspiration and details behind every beverage. The result is a playful, yet sophisticated pairing experience.

According to Ciaran Murray, Director of Marketing at Temecula Creek Inn, guests can wake up early at sunrise for a round of Speedgolf at the resort’s 27-hole championship Temecula Creek Golf Club. “It’s a much quicker game, so they can play and be back to their room to have breakfast with their family,” said Murray.

The resort has been home to the 2025 and 2026 US Speedgolf Open. The 10th U.S. Speedgolf Open was held at the scenic Temecula Creek Golf Club on July 25–26, 2026.
Organized by Speedgolf USA, the U.S. Open is the sport’s premier national championship, combining the precision and strategy of traditional golf with the intensity of distance running. Rather than simply counting strokes, competitors combine their golf score with their running time, measured in minutes and seconds.
“Players start before our dedicated morning golfers arrive. They carry just five choice clubs,” said Murray. “They sprint the fairways, stop and hit the ball and then continue on the race. It’s a very exciting athletic test of endurance and precision.”
Set against Temecula’s rolling fairways and natural landscape, Speedgolf offers a uniquely exhilarating way to experience the course. Not only does the game challenge athletic stamina, but also golfing skill while adding an unexpected sense of adventure.

Surrounded by mature oak trees, rolling golf course greens, and the natural beauty of Temecula Valley, the property is also a premier wedding destination.
