Awards season has officially arrived in Los Angeles, and The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills is marking the moment with a luxurious new afternoon tea designed to channel the glitz, glamour, and pageantry of the red carpet. Just in time for Hollywood’s busiest months, the hotel is debuting its Golden Scone Afternoon Tea, a limited-time experience that transforms a classic tradition into a star-worthy affair.

Available every weekend through Sunday, March 29, the Golden Scone Afternoon Tea is an elevated take on the British ritual, infused with cinematic flair. The presentation pairs sandwiches, scones and treats refined with playful, film-inspired names and details.

The savory course features delicious tea sandwiches that blend tradition with creativity. Highlights include the Cucumber Cameo, the hearty Critics’ Choice Chicken, the Smoked Salmon Starlet.

The Golden Scones are served warm and offered in both classic plain and golden raisin varieties. They are accompanied by silky lemon curd, rich Devonshire cream, and sweet strawberry preserves.

Desserts include a selection of nominee worthy confections. Guests can indulge in Red Carpet Velvet CrĂŞpe Cake, Golden Macarons, the citrus-forward Limelight Citrus Curd Tart and the Cecil B. DeMille Feuille.

The tea service is complemented by a curated selection of premium loose-leaf teas, including traditional favorites like Earl Grey and Jasmine Silver Tip, alongside limited edition blends such as Cherry Blossom and Golden Masala Chai. For those looking to toast the occasion, champagne is available by the glass, as well as the hotel’s signature Leading Lady Martini, made with vodka, pineapple juice, and Chambord.
