Etihad's $40K 3-Room Residence Suite Sells Out First 10 Flights

Etihad Airways have really hit the mark with their $43,000 Residence suite since the first 10 Airbus A380 flights have already sold out, according to the National Post. The luxury three-room cabin comes with its own butler (trained at The Savoy hotel's Butler Academy), a double bed, living area, and a shower cubicle—like we said back in May, it really is like an apartment in the sky.

Ixion Jet Concept Forgoes Windows for Floor-to-Ceiling Digital Screens

The Ixion jet concept from design firm Technicon forgoes traditional windows in favor of floor-to-ceiling panorama screens—which isn't really a new idea at all, since Spike Aerospace announced that their supersonic jet would have digital screens earlier in the year. The new concept gives fliers a high-resolution livestream "video" of what's going on outside so they have something to gaze at while flying.
