Audi Sets 4th Consecutive U.S. Sales Record for 2013

For the fourth consecutive year, luxury automaker Audi established another record for U.S. sales by unloading 158,061 cars during 2013 — a 13.5 percent increase over the previous annual record set the year before. The firm sold 17,013 automobiles in December alone, which is a 14.6 percent uptick over sales for the previous month. December 2013 also established the 36th successive monthly sales record for Audi in the U.S. market.

Audi of America will be among the few companies to run a 60-second TV commercial during Super Bowl XLVIII. The 48th running of the NFL’s game of the year marks the seventh consecutive time the luxury car maker will appear. The commercial will run during the first in-game break following the kick-off to start the third quarter of play, and the star will be the all-new Audi A3 — which will arrive to U.S. showrooms in spring 2014.

Audi USA Makes Record Sales for 30th Consecutive Month

The good word from Audi is that its sales in the U.S. markets are getting better every month, hitting new sales records for the last 2.5 years. The company announced that this is the best first half of any year for the firm since it began selling cars in the States. The luxury automaker sold 13,706 vehicles in June 2013, which is an 8.2 percent increase over June 2012. The year-to-date sales through June 2013 are up 14 percent as U.S. sales are at 74,277 units for the first half of 2013.... Read More
