Disney opened The Boathouse last month, a new steakhouse and seafood restaurant in the popular Disney Springs (previously Downtown Disney) area of Orlando. The Gallery at Mills Park Just Sold for a New Year Record of $66.5 Million

Last week, The Gallery at Mills Park, a luxury apartment complex near Orlando, sold for $66.5 million in the most expensive single property sale in the last year. The 310-unit complex, completed in 2014, was purchased by De Bartolo Development, and promises to draw residents with newly-built restaurants, groceries, shops and entertainment in the surrounding areas.

Three Decades in the Making, 1st Phase of $515M Dr. Phillips Center Complete

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida has literally been some three decades in the making—from its conceptual beginning in 1985 to the doors finally opening this month—and it's actually only the first phase of a two-part $515M project. According to Venues Today, the performing arts center includes the "2,731-seat Walt Disney Theater, the 304-capacity Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, the 400-capacity DeVos Family Room that overlooks downtown Orlando, and the Seneff Arts Plaza, an outdoor space that can accommodate nearly 10,000."
