I’m not much of a cruise fan. That being said, Regent Seven Seas’ $5,000-a-night (per person) suite might just be the only reason I’d consider going on one in 2016. With 3,875 square feet of space, the luxurious suite will sit on the top floor of the new Regent Seven Seas Explorer ship set to debut next year.

The Regent Suite will include two bedrooms, a living room with sitting area, vista garden, wraparound balcony and a grand piano. But one of my favorite features is the personal spa inside with a steam room, sauna and a treatment room. As an added bonus, guests can enjoy unlimited spa services while at sea. Inside the marble and stone-detailed bathroom are Hermès and L'Occitane amenities as well as Regent bathrobes and slippers.

Since you’ll have your own personal butler, you could basically spend the whole cruise in your suite if you really wanted to. Guests who book the Regent Suite are also afforded many perks including as complimentary First Class Air for domestic flights, roundtrip Business Class air for all international flights, roundtrip private sedan transfers, a personal car and guide to explore ashore and free Wi-Fi throughout the ship.

The Explorer will spend its first season in Europe, with its initial voyages heading out from Monte Carlo to Venice. The all-suite ship will carry 750 passengers and will be designed by architectural firms Tillberg Design, RTKL Associates and ICRAVE. According to the New York Times, Jason Montague, president and chief operating officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises said the idea for the vessel was “to resemble a private yacht with organized shore excursions in addition to upscale amenities.” So far, it looks like their vision is right on point.
