Known well in their native Iran, Hallajvashan will launch themselves once more into the world stage with their concert at the House of World Cultures in Paris. Bringing with their inspired performance an exotic and fascinating taste of Persian culture, the band's newest songs will see a simultaneous concert in Paris and release in Iran.
The Iranian ensemble Hallajvashan will be giving a concert on the Persian mystic and poet Molana Jalal ad-Din Rumi (1207-1273) at the House of World Cultures in Paris on May 24.
Selections from the band’s unreleased album “The Silence of Rumi” will be performed during the concert, which has been given the same name, the Tehran-based recording studio Barbad Music announced in a press release on Sunday.
The studio plans to release the album in Iran concurrent with the concert in Paris.
