Luxury Hotels: Solio Lodge welcomed its first guests on August 1, 2010 and is expected to be Kenya's most luxurious new property.

The reserve is internationally recognized as the most successful private rhinoceros breeding reserve in all of Kenya, and is now home to more than 74 Black Rhinos and 155 White Rhinos. A wide variety of other species also populate the land, and visitors to Solio have the opportunity to see some of the continent's most fascinating and elusive species. An abundance of diverse and exotic birdlife color the skies above Solio, congregating around the numerous permanent water holes and acacia lined Moyo River.
