It has long been the discreet refuge of choice for Beyoncé, Rihanna, Michael Jordan, and Jennifer Lopez. But this June, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in La Romana, Dominican Republic, steps further into the spotlight than ever before when it unveils the inaugural Casa de Campo Fashion Week, a four-day immersive experience where haute couture meets Caribbean grandeur.

Running June 4th through 8th, the event promises to be unlike anything the region has seen. The vision, according to Jason Kycek, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Casa de Campo, is expansive: “We are elevating the standard for fashion events in the Caribbean and throughout the world, by creating an event never before seen in this setting.” Beyond the runway shows, guests can expect educational seminars led by anti-aging and longevity physicians, celebrity makeup artists and hairstylists, skincare professionals, and wellness experts — making this equal parts fashion week and luxury wellness retreat.
Serving as brand ambassador is Dayanara Torres, the Puerto Rican actress, model, and former Miss Universe, who will appear across the full program as keynote personality and seminar participant. Additional celebrity guests and entertainers are expected throughout the week.

The itinerary has been curated to take full advantage of Casa de Campo’s most iconic settings. The event opens on Thursday, June 4th with a welcome cocktail reception and the opening of renowned fashion photographer Jesús Cordero’s art exhibition at Galería Chavón, followed by a private dinner at Casa del Río for designers and international media. Friday and Saturday feature morning wellness sessions, yoga and pilates, followed by designer talks and keynote seminars at the Flamboyan Conference Center, with headline runway shows each evening at the Marina Riverside Center. Saturday night culminates in a Gala Dinner and After Party at the Minitas Beach Club Pool Deck, complete with live music, fireworks, and designer models. On Sunday, the week concludes with an intimate Trunk Show and Champagne Brunch at Villa Opulenta, giving guests rare one-on-one access to the designers and their collections.

For those unfamiliar with the venue, Casa de Campo is something of an open secret among the ultra-wealthy. Known as “The Hamptons of the DR,” the 7,000-acre resort is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and offers everything from Pete Dye’s legendary Teeth of the Dog golf course — rated number one in the Caribbean — to a world-class equestrian center, a 5,000-seat amphitheater in the replica 16th-century village of Altos de Chavón, and private Minitas Beach. Guests navigate the sprawling property in signature fire-engine red golf carts, a detail that somehow perfectly captures the resort’s blend of luxury and ease.

Extensive international media coverage has already been secured, with live streaming planned for the runway shows. Three-day all-inclusive packages are available for resort guests, while local attendees can purchase individual tickets for runway shows and select events through Uepa Tickets.
With this launch, Casa de Campo makes its ambitions unmistakably clear: to establish the Dominican Republic as a permanent fixture on the international fashion calendar.
