Aliante Casino + Hotel, is a place for gambling and sleeping, and now for eating fresh and diverse food. In addition to MRKT Sea and Land Restaurant, Aliante’s executive chef George Jacquez has helped to create luxury menus that showcase culturally varied cuisine. Jacquez states that he and the rest of the culinary team seek to provide guests with “quality, creativity and affordably priced menus.” As the former 17-year, Corporate Chef for the Cheesecake Factory in California, it’s safe to say his word is law.
Aliante, due to their “single property status” offers its patrons the freshest dishes, not giving in to the cost-cutting practice of purchasing in prepackaged ingredients that many multi-property restaurants are apt to do. The new dining opportunities are set to compliment the hotel’s already existing steak and seafood restaurant MRKT Sea & Land, with their similarly quality-oriented, but internationally-themed options.
The Salted Lime is a latin-themed experience, with a massive margarita bar located in the center. The menu boasts spiced up “melt-in-your-mouth cuisine” like enchiladas and three-cheese quesadillas to make your margarita taste like heaven. The colorful Mexican food also has a certain Las Vegas flare to it, ensuring that no matter how many margaritas you consume, you will still remember where you are.
Bistro 57 moves away from the casual happy hour scene of The Salted Lime, by taking its name from over 57 different wine choices that are available. The restaurant's European-inspired dishes, like Roasted Beet Salad, Salad Nicoise and Croissant Bread Pudding along with a modern atmosphere will probably lull you into a false sense of securtiy when you think you somewhere in Europe, not gambling away your life's savings at the blackjack table.
If you prefer a place that doesn't have a set destination-theme, then The Medley Buffet is the option for you. The restaurant serves dishes from around the world in an "elegant atmosphere.” For only $8 with an Aliante Players Club Card, you can send your taste buds to China, Mexico, Italy, or an American barbecue. The buffet also includes a number of live-action food stations for your viewing pleasures. Whatever culture you want a taste of, Aliante Casino + Hotel promises to meet your every epicurean need.
