Iconic French chef Joël Robuchon—you know, the guy with 25 Michelin stars—is bringing his famed L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon to New York City. Having opened his first L'Atelier in Paris back in 2003, he has since expanded the restaurant to Las Vegas, London, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Singapore, with one in Bangkok still on its way. Though each one always has very developed Parisian roots, the establishments all take inspiration from the city and neighborhood they're in, meaning that this NYC location will be a great combination of quaint European vibes and big city flair.
Opening in March, L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon will be found in Manhattan’s Brookfield Place in Battery Park City at 250 Vesey Street. Set among tons of dining and shopping options in the former World Financial Center, the space has fantastic views of the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty. Aside from having a fine dining room, it will also feature a casual bar for pre-dinner cocktails and a lounge area complete with outdoor waterside seating.
