It’s one thing to live in a luxury residence, but it’s another thing entirely to live in a property designed by internationally-renowned architect Thomas Juul-Hansen. For his first residential project in Miami, Juul-Hansen has designed Three Hundred Collins, a five-story, 19-unit property in the heart of the city’s swanky South of Fifth neighborhood. And befitting its area code, the residences will be some of the most luxurious in the area, outfitted with white oaks floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, large balconies and terraces, and stone finishes.
While completion on the property isn’t expected until 2017, sales began this month with prices ranging from $1.2 to $9 million. The one-to four-bedroom homes offer up to 3,700 square feet of private space and include high-end Miele appliances, custom kitchens, designer fixtures and wine storage in every kitchen—perfect for those who love to host. Those who prefer to get away from it all—including the laid back Miami beach scene—will appreciate the property’s rooftop pool and private gardens, an oasis in the urban area of South Beach.
”I believe in efficient spaces and sumptuous materialization, extensive customization and a restrained palette,” Danish designer Juul-Hansen said of the project. “Our vision is to create a modern, pure and practical space for an elegant and redefined luxury living environment.” And for all its luxury it is surprisingly practical. Steps from Three Hundred Collins, residents will find a beautiful neighborhood filled with beaches, museums, theaters, art galleries and even a symphony hall.
