Located right next to Pier 39 along The Embarcadero, the Aquarium of the Bay is 50,000 square feet of underwater exhibits focused mostly on the life found in and around the San Francisco Bay. Visitors can experience sharks, rays and many fish, in addition to three touch pools for getting up close and personal with starfish and sea slugs.

Over 600,000 visitors come here yearly to see what lives under the surface of the bay. Shark enthusiasts will be particularly thrilled because there are over fifty species of them here
