Pier 39 has perhaps more to do than any other pier in the world. Check out the seals hanging out on docks just off the north side, take a ferry to floating restaurant, or check out the many shops and boutiques scattered throughout the area.

Many family restaurants can be found here, as well as the Aquarium of the Bay and unique boutiques like the Shell Cellar and The Left Hand Store. The Pier has a carnival-like atmosphere complete with several amusement park rides
