The 6,836-yard, par-72 Canyon Course winds through the inspiring beauty of the Esperero Canyon and incorporates the massive rock formation known as Whaleback Rock. What is most notable on this course is the 18th hole which showcases a partial island green and a steep, cascading waterfall. The 6,902-yard, par-72 Mountain Course is highlighted by its107-yard par 3 that plays across a plunging ravine to a granite-encased green.

To take full advantage of both golf courses, Loews Ventana Canyon offers their Golf and Stay Package (offer ends December 31, 2021) which makes the world-class courses available on alternating days to maximize your golf experience. The package includes a daily round of golf for two people, complimentary driving range use, golf cart use and bag storage.

After a long day out in the Arizona sun, stop by Bill’s Grill on the patio adjacent to the pool for light Sonoran Mexican fare or Canyon Cafe for American cuisine with Southwestern soul. Their signature restaurant is the Flying V Bar & Grill where guests can sit inside in their rustic dining room or outdoors on the patio with the Canyon Golf Course and waterfall at their feet. Make sure to order their table-side guacamole, made to order by the guacamoliere, and pair it with one of Chef de Cuisine Tyler Lapotosky’s signature dishes like the charred Spanish OctopusorChili Charred Ahi. 

Offering a total of 398 luxury guest rooms, including 27 suites, the most grandiose accommodations at the resort are the Presidential Suites measuring at 2,000 sq. ft. Along with a separate living area with stone fireplace and private outdoor hot tub, this two-level one bedroom suite has a dining area for 8 and plenty of room to relax. Decorated with a palette of purple and grey, this suite boasts views of the waterfall on the Catalina Mountains, or the golf course and Tucson skyline.

The resort also features 37,000 sq. ft. of indoor function space and nearly 40,000 sq. ft. of outdoor space great for large gatherings, corporate events and weddings and four lighted tennis courts. They are also proud to partner with local businesses (Tucson Tamale Company, Dragoon Brewing Company and Barrio Bread) with their Flavor by Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. Other points of interest at the resort include a scenic half mile Window Walk nature trail complete with an 80-foot waterfall, a 1,500 sq. ft. butterfly garden and 800 sq. ft. tortoise exhibit.
