Arrive early to take advantage of the bubbling warm whirlpool to soak away stress. There is also a warm sauna and steam room to melt away tension.
After a treatment, come back and repeat sitting in the hot water spa, sauna and steam room for additional relaxation.
TREATMENT ROOMS
There are eight beautifully designed rooms, including an atmospheric couples suite. Guests can select from an array of wellness treatments such as the signature Aarna's Ocean Devotion Massage. It's a 50 or 80 minute escape to the coast, providing background sounds of the ocean while receiving a uniquely curated massage.
Soothing is the keyword for a Balinese massage, which often starts with a gentle hand washing ritual. Your massage therapist will offer a choice of three aromatherapy scents, before one is poured into a bowl of warm water. While cleansing your hands, you are asked to set an intention. While lying face down on a heated massage table, your therapist enters the room and rings three bell tones as a pre-massage ritual. This activates three chakra areas – crown of your head, heart, and base of your spine.
The gentle sound signals the beginning of the session and helps you transition into a more relaxed state of wellbeing. Warm towels are placed on your back, as Balinese treatment oils are applied with pressure on your skin for a restorative Balinese and Polynesian influenced massage. Wave-like strokes and pulsating pressure similar to the power of ocean waves help to remove toxins in your body and restore balance.
Other treatments include Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sea Stone massages, as well as HydraFacials resurfacing and an invigorating Bali Escape body scrubs.
Special packages like the “Menari” spa special feature a 50-minute Couples Duet Massage with a 20-minute soaking tub session, and a glass of bubbly.
Enhancements can be added to your massage or facial that include DERMAFLASH to exfoliate dead skin cells, remove peach fuzz and improve the texture and tone of your skin. Other enhancements include lip and eye collagen enhancement masks, foot scrub and essence ring aromatherapy.
Afterwards relax in the Spa Garden in a private outdoor cabana. Enjoy a cup of hot tea or cool hibiscus tea with spa snacks.
It's best to arrive at least 15 minutes early before your Balinese-influenced treatment to start your relaxation process. A 22% service charge is included in the price that is allocated to Aarna Spa staff and support staff. Additional gratuities are optional and always appreciated.
