Golf Club of Dublin Nearly 4 years after the golf club struggled economically the golf club has finally been sold. GE Capital Corp. was the highest and lone bidder for the Dublin property. The final sale price was a surprising $2.2 million. Now both parties are waiting for the paperwork to go through so that they can lay this deal to rest.
Golf Club of Dublin’s leasehold interest and operating assets have sold to lender GE Capital Corp. 3 ½ years after the course fell into financial distress.
GE Capital was the sole bidder at $2.2 million during a Jan. 30 receiver’s auction in Delaware County.
“I think they’ll be looking for a sale,” said Reg Martin of Martin Management Services, who has served as the court-appointed receiver in the case since 2009.
