Amazon Brings High Fashion into Your Home

Not long after Amazon rebuilt its clothing and shoes section, the site has launched a premium clothing area on their United Kingdom site: Amazon.co.uk/Premium. This launch coincides with the UK's 'Mega Monday,' which is akin to America's 'Cyber Monday.' I'm a fan of this type of expansion as it makes high fashion much more accessible and viewable by everyone, hopefully leading to a more fashionable public.

 

American online retailer Amazon are set to launch their own new premium online fashion store tomorrow as they make a bid to rival the likes of ASOS and Net-A-Porter.

Amazon will launch their new fashion store tomorrow as part of ‘Mega Monday’ the busiest online shopping day of the year. The new store will be located at amazon.co.uk/premium, and alike ASOS and Net-A-Porter the site will feature products from various top clothing brands.

The Amazon fashion store is already thought to have signed contracts with brands such as Pringle, Black Orchid and 7 For All Mankind. Read More
