Jaguar Land Rover recently announced that they are in the middle of developing a self-learning car that will truly personalize your driving experience. The luxury auto will be able to recognize individual drivers by their smartphone or other device as they approach, so that by the time the driver opens the door, the mirrors, seat settings, and steering wheel will have already been changed. The new learning algorithm will also know the driver's style and can tap into your calendar, the traffic conditions, time of day, and weather to help prevent accidents and reduce driver distraction.
Nitto Tire has created a short video that showcases their love for rare and exotic luxury cars. Called Getting Started, the mini film is 4.5-minutes long and features 34 classic autos, all roaring to life to create a soundtrack that will be music to any car aficionados' ears. Showcasing autos like the '69 Jaguar E-Type, '64 Porsche 356, and the 2014 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, the video really highlights each car's unique purrr. And of course, like many car ads, the video starts with a beautiful woman.
Being called the "world's first family robot," JIBO will probably be a welcome sight to anyone who grew up idolizing robotic characters in film and television—like R2-D2 and C-3PO, Johnny 5, Maria from Metropolis, and Wall-E. Created by roboticist Dr. Cynthia Breazeal, the cute little device sort of looks like a friendly lamp with its large orb-like face, and we desperately want one. While JIBO performs pretty simple tasks, like taking pictures and reading your emails, its design interface is breathtaking (assuming they can pull off what the promotional video promises).
There's a scene in 20,000 Days on Earth in which Nick Cave chauffeurs Kylie Minogue around Brighton in a black 1980s Jaguar XJ as she reflects back on having first met him. The front passenger seat is left open for us, the audience, as an invitation into a music documentary that's not quite real. In fact, everything you see has been constructed and the car you're in is more like a dream. Though the ambitious film is artistically pieced together and wrapped in fiction by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard—and co-written by Cave himself—it's actually the most beautifully honest reflection of art's transformative power you may ever see.
It seems like the newest trend is for hugely anticipated film and television programs to offer fans a chance to win an on-camera role by donating to a good cause—either to fund the project itself or to raise money for charity. Even author George R.R. Martin got into it when he offered Game of Thrones fans the opportunity to win a spot in his upcoming A Song of Ice and Fire novel by donating to The Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in New Mexico. And now, ladies and gentleman, you have the chance to be cast in the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII!
The mountains of upstate New York and New England have plenty of country restaurants, many of which offer innovative culinary options, but we're only singling out a choice few—three to be exact. These establishments go beyond having a creative menu, knowing that a restaurant also needs a variety of exemplary wines and a unique ambience to really exemplify fine dining.
If you happen to be taking part in the Baikal Ice Racing competition in April, you may just spot this awesome design from Anna Khitrova. Named Kaira, this modern ice yacht was inspired by traditional ice boats—which are always wind powered and need clean, snow-free ice to sail upon.

If you've been having a hard time scoring your spot aboard Virgin Galactic's space plane, or just want to double up on luxury experiences, you can float around near-space in a giant balloon. Created by the team at Zero2Infinity, Bloon takes you up around 36km above the earth (which is around 22 miles high) and gives a view of approximately 1,400km in diameter—meaning that you'll be able to see Paris and Rome at the same time.
The Ritz-Carlton Battery Park is taking the penthouse game to a new level by selling The Penthouse Collection at The Residences for $118.5 million, which just so happens to be three different units in one—because one apartment isn't enough. According to the Wall Street Journal, the combined listing for the three units is the highest asking price for any downtown home in New York City.
Vancouver is full of diverse foodie options and considering it's one of Canada's most culturally diverse cities, it really shouldn't be a surprise that there are a ton of exciting restaurants there to try out.
Being halfway through the day only to have your phone alert you to a low battery is not only a bummer, it's stressful. And there is nothing worse than identifying a USB port that could charge you up, but not having a cable. Because let's be honest, who wants to twist up a full cable and cram it into your purse or pocket? Enter Nomad, the adorable little connectors that you can keep with you at all times, which happen to take up nearly zero space. Some of us gave up on the radio long before Jason Derulo and Snoop Dog let us all know what to do with our "big fat butts" (it's wiggle, by the way). If you find that you would rather immerse yourself in some tunes from the past and love the look of vintage radios, Grace Digital's Grace Victoria Internet radio is a pretty great answer. It may look like the radio your grandparents had in their kitchen, but it's packed full of modern technologies seen on its small digital menu screen. Able to wirelessly stream over 50,000 stations, the Grace Victoria can hook up to Pandora, Sirius, Live 365, NPR, and Rhapsody. It has an auxiliary input jack to connect other music players to it (like your iPhone) and an output jack so you can hook extra speakers up to it if you want. Sure, it may not be the loudest player you've ever heard, it still gives music a nice warmth that will remind you of a record player thanks to its Class D Digital amplifier, full range speakers and rear reflex bass port.

For the past several years, the countries of Northern Europe have dominated the world culinary stage with a revolutionary style of food that utilizes both the bounty of the sea and foraged ingredients in ingenious new combinations and preparations. Dubbed New Nordic cuisine, this style’s impact can be felt the world round as more and more restaurants are sourcing products right from their own backyards.

Old Hollywood never seems to lose its appeal, with stars like Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe still commanding our attention. Not only do we love looking and speaking like them, we love living like them, which is why celebrity real estate is always going to spark some interest. Listed with Joe Babajian, 2260 Maravilla Drive in Los Angeles has plenty going for it, from its prime location overlooking the city in the Outpost Estates to its list of former residents (like Bela Lugosi and Sinatra himself) — plus, it takes a pretty great photo.

There are two types of people who buy Corvettes: people who want to go fast, and people who want to look like they're going fast. The former would often go for one of the more performance-focused versions, like the track-tuned Z06, while the latter would often opt for the convertible.
It’s one thing to read about what a luxury car can do, but it’s another thing entirely to drive it like it was made to be driven — something which isn't very easy or safe to do on city streets. That said, you should probably know what you're doing, since the more powerful the car, the more important it is to get some training.
