BY : Mila Pantovich | 1969

pandoretta° is the newest wireless sound system from Austrian tech brand Poet Audio and we love its unique look. The piece of tech resembles an art piece more than it does a speaker—especially when displayed on one of their wood bases. The...

Does Your Valentine Love Pink? Gift Them Amosu's New $2.8K Limited Edition iPhone 6

Own It
BY : Mila Pantovich | 1969

If your Valentine has a pink obsession, we might have just found you the perfect gift. London-based brand Amosu has released a limited edition pink iPhone 6, and with only 10 available, you should probably hurry. Sure, the phone is exactly the same as any other iPhone 6—it has a 4.7-inch display and 64GB of memory—but Amosu assures that this one is the world's first iPhone 6 to have a pink encasement. We assume the final 10 phones won't say "World's First Pink iPhone 6" on the bottom like it does in the photo, as that would definitely detract from the overall aesthetic. The company also plans to release the smartphone in gold (as usual) for a price of £2,499 ($3,797).

Kaleidescape Launches New Alto Movie Library & Player After Pressure from Film Industry

Own It
BY : JustLuxe Team | 1969

You may remember when we told you about the Kaleidescape Cinema One last year. With the ability to copy and store hundreds of movies in its system, the video player seemed pretty perfect. Well, apparently the film industry found the copy-based business model less than desirable and greeted Kaleidescape with trouble. Shifting gears and adapting, Kaleidescape has released the new Alto, which phases out the disc entirely (though you can see watch a DVD/Blu-ray if you really want to). Designed for movie fanatics who have home theaters, the Alto has tons of room to store hundreds of movies (up to 600 in DVD quality and up to 100 in Blu-ray). The new movie player is able to import all of its content from the cloud via the company's online store, which has "over 8,500 movies and 1,600 TV seasons licensed from the major motion picture studios." If one doesn't have enough room, you can buy up to four Altos to create a network that will quadruple the storage space. Plus, you can also create different "viewing zones" when you get more than one, giving a different movie watching experience in each.

Be the Only Person in the World to Own This Jimi Hendrix-Inspired $10K Wi-Fi Soundwall Speaker

Own It
BY : Mila Pantovich | 1969

Based in Boulder, CO, Soundwall combines art and music by hiding a sound system inside of a fine art canvas. It's not the only company to do so, but it's definitely our new favorite, especially considering that the company gets some pretty great artists to curate limited edition and original one-off pieces. The entire surface of the Soundwall is the wireless speaker, which is called a "sophisticated distributed mode system" and features a built-in computer and amplifier. Electric Ladyland, pictured above, marks the collaboration between New York-based musician Joseph Arthur and photographer Spencer Tunik. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix's song, Have You Ever Been (to Electric Ladyland), the custom 40" by 60" artwork is one-of-a-kind, meaning that prints will not be made available so if you like it, you better get it now.
