So (most) actors can’t get $10 million for a movie anymore? Does anyone in the general population really feel bad for them at this point? I understand Brad Pitt isn’t complaining or anything like that, but that doesn’t change the fact that getting paid huge sums of money for doing a job that seems relatively fun is scoff-worthy.
AUSTERITY has come to Hollywood, it seems. According to Brad Pitt, the days of actors getting multi-million dollar fees are over. Asked by the BBC whether a movie star could still command $10m or more for a film, he replied: "Yeah, that thing died. That arithmetic doesn't really work right now.”
