Hydrate Winter Skin with This Season's Hottest Products

erclea

Wintertime means the onset of super dry skin. To keep your face looking fresh and dewy, here are our picks for some of the season’s hottest products:

It’s time to slough off scaly skin by exfoliating to diminish the effects of seasonal exposure and expose fresher, brighter, newer skin cells beneath. One of the best ways to do just that is with eraclea, which has non-abrasive exfoliants and natural ingredients like bamboo designed to help smooth the skin by providing antioxidants and vitamins. We love the Daily Bamboo Exfoliant, which not only helps to increase skin cell turnover rate but also works to resurface the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pores, age spots, discolorations and even acne scars.

One of our favorite gifts this holiday season is OLEHENRIKSEN’s Ole La La Look at Her Glow skincare collection. Take this cute little bag with you and you can keep your skin looking and feeling fresh and clean all day. Start off with the African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser to gently remove dirt. If you don’t have time for a full facial cleansing, just reach for the Truth to Go Wipes, which are perfect for traveling. Finish off your new look with Truth Serum Collagen Booster to brighten and even skin tone or Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil to activate cell renewal.

Cake Beauty has recently launched a new body product line, including delicious scents like strawberry & cream, lemon & cream, coconut & cream and vanilla & cream (our favorite). The Canadian company recently introduced be Delectable from Cake Beauty to the US market with a full line of hair and body mist, body wash, hand cream, body polish and body lotions. We love the heavenly scent of strawberry & cream body wash, which lathered up into a rich creamy foam that left our skin hydrated and super smooth.

Finish off your hydration routine with Restorsea’s Retexturizing Body Butter. Made with a natural enzyme released during the baby salmon hatching process, the body butter leaves skin hydrated and supple. What makes this enzyme so unique is that it actually digests dead skin cells and has the same benefits of glycolic acid but without the side effects.

Who doesn’t love smooth hands? One of the worst feelings is having callousy dry hands. To rid yourself of cracked skin, hydrate them with Arianna’s Intensive Mineral Hand Treatment. The Dead Sea line of beauty products contains natural moisturizing ingredients like avocado and aloe vera combined with olive and sunflower oils, enriched with active Dead Sea minerals and Vitamins A&E. The rich hand cream absorbs quickly into the skin and left our hands as soft as baby’s skin.

Finish off your look with the Yes to Naturally Smooth Lip Balm Collection. There are three sweet flavors to choose ffom – blueberry (our favorite), grapefruit and pomegranate – which are made with shea butter, aloe vera and cocoa seed butter to retain flavorful moisture.

To make your lips really shine, try ASAP’s hydrating lip balm, which not only protects against cold sores with its unique ingredient of alpine rose, but helps to restore the skin’s natural resilience.

Finally, one of our most favorite repair cremes is Orogold Cosmetics' Termica Facial Expression Night Repair. All you have to do is put a fine layer on your face before bedtime then let the product go to work for you while you sleep. The product contains an overabundance of vitamins and extracts so you will wake up noticing a big difference from your prior day's tired looking skin. Be sure to also check out their new Boston store that recently opened in Copley Place.
