Not looking to be left behind by other luxury vehicle companies that had a tremendous August in sales, they have also seen a huge boost in numbers last month. In fact, Infiniti had their best August since 2005; pretty impressive stuff indeed.
Infiniti today reported U.S. sales of 11,155 units in August, an increase of 23.6 percent versus 9,024 units a year earlier. Year-to-date Infiniti sales are up 21.1 percent compared to the 63,702 units sold during the same period last year.
Infiniti sales highlights for the month include:
- Infiniti G Sedan, with sales of 5,123, had its best August with a 20.1 percent increase over prior year
- With 2,378 sales in August, the all-new Infiniti JX 7-passenger luxury crossover has now become Infiniti's second best-selling vehicle for the year since it went on sale in late March
- Overall, Infiniti had its best August in seven years
