Apparently Julia Restoin Roitfeld's lingerie is doing what it's intended to do because the designer is now pregnant and embracing motherhood full force. With a new website on the way and her belly prepping itself to pop, she's got a lot on her plate at the moment.
Julia Restoin Roitfeld has the bébé bug. The 32-year-old model/lingerie designer will be launching her own online publication devoted to motherhood and pregnancy “in a few weeks,” she told Buzz at Tuesday night’s Shopbop fete celebrating the launch of Mugler. Roitfeld, who had her baby girl Romy in May with longtime lover, Swedish model Robert Konjic, admits she’s surprised by how hands-on her editrix mother, Carine Roitfeld, has been with the babe. “I actually trust her much more than I expected,” she said, adding that the CR magazine editor-in-chief wants her grandchild to address her, not as grandma, but as “babushka,” which means, “an elderly Russian woman.” Read More

It's interesting to see Roitfeld's designs doing so well and nice to hear that she's moving into the family sector also. I like to see it when entrepreneurs tie in new ventures with major changes in their lives as it indicates they care more about the challenges and the innovation than the money - good luck to her!
