Make some room in your shoe closet, ladies. One of our favorite footwear brands just came up with the perfect way for us to empower women, celebrate sisterhood and have super cute new shoes all at the same time. Luxury handmade shoe label Josefinas has just partnered with Women for Women International, an incredible organization that helps at-risk women in war-torn counties start a small business or learn a new profession so they can become more independent. In support of WFWI, they have designed a Women for Women special-edition gift set which includes two pairs of pink, velvet ballet slippers, adorned in crystals. If that doesn’t sound tasty enough, they have a little secret: when both pairs of shoes are facing each other, the crystals form a perfect circle meant to symbolize the sisterhood between women.

"I believe in a world with pro-active, supportive and difference-making women. If it wasn’t for that, Josefinas wouldn’t exist! I know that success isn’t about walking alone; we need help along the way,” said Filipa Júlio, the brand’s founder. “One pair is yours; the other is for your best friend. And by celebrating your friendship, your sisterhood, you’re celebrating the transformation of these women’s lives.”

Every 10 gift sets sold will help another woman in need. So far the brand has helped three women in Rwanda and has been able improve their lives through business skills, education for their children, food and medicine, rights awareness, financial aid, and emotional support. You’ll also be joining the likes of some of the most influential women in the world like Oprah Winfrey, Ashley Judd and Emily Deschanel, who support WFWI. It’s a great way to give back while keeping your (and your BFF's) style on point.

The Women for Women gift set is available online and priced at €396 (approx. $440).
