If you’re a fan of Disney (and let’s be honest, who isn’t) then you’ll want to get your hands on their new collaboration with Coach ASAP. On June 17, the two brands will be officially launching Disney x Coach, a limited edition collection that features Walt’s iconic mouse on everything from handbags to ready-to-wear. The partnership is a part of Coach’s year-long initiative to celebrate American pop culture and their 75th anniversary. For Disney, this year marks the opening of Shanghai Disney Resort.

Stuart Vevers, the executive creative director of Coach, is not only a fan of fashion and American iconography, but is also a self-professed Disney fanatic. "Mickey Mouse is one of my earliest memories of American pop—his nostalgic charm, cheekiness, individuality and inherent cool make for the ultimate American icon," said Vevers in a release. "I've always seen Mickey as a playful rebel at heart and a timeless symbol of joy and creativity. That spirit reinforces the new youthful perspective we are bringing to luxury at Coach."

And that playfulness comes out in the new capsule collection. The line includes demure pieces like Mickey’s silhouette on classic saddlebags, and funky, overt pieces, like his oversized ears adorning the corners of a snap-top purse. His iconic silhouette is also punched out in a series of metallic studs on a leather jacket and cut out on shoes. Vevers also brought back an archival Coach bag, the Kisslock, from the 1960’s exclusively for the occasion. For the more serious Disney collector, they’ll offer limited-edition leather Mickey dolls and shearling beanbags.

"This collaboration brings together two iconic brands in fresh, yet timeless designs that celebrate the heritage and style of both Mickey and Coach," noted Josh Silverman, Executive Vice President of Global Licensing, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. "This incredible collection is sure to delight the fashion world and Disney fans alike."
