Skin Care Product Must-Haves

As JustLuxe’s Senior Fashion and Beauty Correspondent, I’m constantly reviewing products and scouring the market for the latest and greatest concoctions to recommend to my readers. Check out the latest crop of skin care wonders that are currently on heavy rotation on my bathroom counter.

Arcona Solution Pads $42

After a brutal summer, or even a demanding week, sometimes skin needs to hit the ‘re-set’ button. These handy pads from Arcona repair sun damage, photo-aging and stimulate rapid cell renewal while you sleep. A few swipes across your complexion and you’ll be amazed at its exfoliating and decongesting abilities, too.

Cecilia Wong Rejuvenating Toner Mist $18

I keep this gentle botanical mist at my desk at all times. A few spritzes and my skin (and my spirit) is instantly refreshed, balanced and relaxed. Best of all, the holistic skin care line hydrates and restores like no other.

Rodial Glamtox Night Treatment $144

I thrive on productivity and multi-tasking, so needless to say, I expect the same work ethic out of my skin care products. This wonder treatment works overtime to reverse the signs of aging while I’m fast asleep. Retinol microspheres and Vitamin C work to retexturize the skin, while soy isoflavones improve elasticity and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The gel treatment also thickens and plumps the skin, decreases hyperpigmentation and brightens simultaneously. Genius!

EraClea Cleansing Gel $35

After a long day, I reach for EraClea cleansing gel to remove makeup, dirt and impurities. It’s a simple one-step product that gets the job done and never irritates or overpowers my skin. Gentle yet effective, this cleanser leaves my skin supple and rejuvenated morning and night.

La Prairie Anti-Aging Eye Cream SPF 15 $155

The ultimate in luxury skin care, I never skimp on La Prairie’s fabulous anti-aging eye cream with SPF. This indulgent product keeps the delicate eye area hydrated and protected, and works against lines, wrinkles and puffiness. What more could you ask for?

GlamGlow Mud Mask $69

Chances are, you’re lacking a facial mask in your skin care regimen. If you’re looking for an incredible one, I’d recommend GlamGlow for a killer treatment you can do at home. Unlike other mud masks, this one smells soothing and relaxed (thanks to the green tea leaf and camellia seed oil), and absolutely exfoliates and purifies while it dries to the skin. Give it twenty minutes and you’ll be glowing like a star!

Priori Radical Defense $125

After a recent visit to the exquisite Ritz-Carlton Spa in downtown Los Angeles (one of my top pampering spots in the city), I picked up this product (available at the spa) and have been hooked ever since. I’m admittedly addicted to protecting my skin against the sun, and this miracle product safeguards your skin from the elements and fights against premature aging too. The combined SPF 30 with the UV photo-protection from sun exposure together with the EPF 95 (Environmental Protection Factor) provides a wide range of environmental protection from oxidative stress and free radicals. In short, smear it on daily and thank me later!

Pattern Body Wash $20

I’ve recently been turned on this line of body washes and am obsessed with the intoxicating scents that make shower time so much more enjoyable. Black pepper, nutmeg, sage and eucalyptus are just a few of the awesome offerings.

Cecilia Wong's toner mist is alcohol and oil-free so I always use it over and over.

There are lots more anti-ageing eye creams that are cheaper and still effective. I use Avon's ANEW Clinical Eye Lift which is less than $20. More than 1,000,000 British women swear by it!

The skin around our eyes is very thin and delicate, thus it's very susceptible to damage. It's never to early to start using an eye cream.

Since everyone's skin is different - and personal preferences on products come into play - it's good to read as many unbiased reviews of skin care products as possible. Here's a page with reviews of natural skin care products that are also organic. The reviews are based on the experiences and findings of members of a test panel. http://www.best-mens-skin-care.com/skin-care-product-reviews.html
