Still glowing from last year’s campaign with Yves Saint Laurent’s Manifesto fragrance, Jessica Chastain is ready to impress once again. With her new photos emerging, everyone is buzzing about the knockout redhead looking chic and powerful in her seductive all black ensemble. The shots encapsulate what the fragrance wishes to convey; the strength, mystery and desire that is embodied by women. Chastain does this beautifully with muted tones of grey and black surrounding her pop of red hair and pink lips. With her dark and demure outfits designed by Hedi Slimane, creative director at Yves Saint Laurent, and photographed by Max Vadukul, this campaign is perhaps more stunning than the last.

The fragrance itself is a not taking a backseat to this redheaded bombshell. With notes of bergamot, green accord, sambac jasmine, wood, and vanilla, the ingredients are meant to symbolize audacity, excess, and desire, attempting to capture the multi-level complexity of women. According to YSL even the bottle was meant to capture our intrigue with a golden patterned cap, sparking amethyst gem, and a feminine silhouette. While the bottle may remain the same the new campaign will either send us running out to purchase a new feminine power suit or our new signature fragrance…maybe both.
