JustLuxe asked David Yurman, world-renowned creator of elegant jewelry, to suggest a few pieces from his extensive men's collection for those seeking gifts Father's Day. Yurman, the creator of the iconic cable bracelet, is not only a respected jeweler, but a father himself. His son Evan heads the David Yurman's Men's, Timepieces and Bridal divisions and works closely to design the company's eyewear collection.

"I've always felt that jewelry is one of the most personal and emotional gifts you can give your loved one," Yurman says. "Perhaps one of the first pieces I created was a gift for my then girlfriend, now wife and muse Sybil, over thirty years ago."

Yurman suggests his Chevron Collection which offers a wide variety of pieces that would make great Father's Day gifts. The Aluminum Money Clip with sterling silver detail and black case ($450) is a great choice, as well as the Classic Black Onyx Cable Cufflinks ($695) and the Chevron Four-Sided Valet Keychain ($350). Yurman also suggest his Cushion Heirloom Cufflinks ($475). These stunning cufflinks are made of sterling silver and are 3/4 inches in size.

The dog tag collection is timeless and coordinates well with the matching women's collection. For Father's Day, Yurman suggests the Chevron Dog Tag collection, which is offered in silver and black onyx. The Silver rectangular tag necklace ($550) features a sterling silver rectangular tag while the oval-shaped tag is available in both black onyx ($650) and silver ($550).

David Yurman's Phantom sunglasses ($495) are ideal for the summer months. They feature custom Zeiss lenses and Rubberon signature David Yurman cable. Made of titanium, the sunglasses are available in both gunmetal with ruthenium electroplating and silver with palladium electroplating.

For timepiece lovers, consider David Yurman's Classic Chronograph Watch ($4,500), which offers a Swiss Automatic chronograph Dubois-Depraz movement, 49 jewels and a 46MM stainless steel case with integrated cable. The black galvanic dial features a guilloche zone, an opaline center and black galvanic subdials and silver Arabic numerals.

All of the pieces mentioned above can be purchased on David Yurman's website or at David Yurman boutiques around the world. Its flagship boutique is located at 712 Madison Avenue (at 63rd Street) in Manhattan. David Yurman jewelry is also carried by many fine jewelers and department stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. For more gift ideas, visit DavidYurman.com.
