We wish we had known about actor Ryan Phillippe's Sunset Strip home in time for our recent "10 Celebrity Homes For Sale" article, but at least this way the luxury real estate listing gets an entire article all to itself. Found at 1877 Rising Glen Rd., the modern home has a canyon and city lights view, meaning it's probably pretty beautiful come sunset.

With 7,447-square-feet of living space, this five bedroom retreat is definitely lavish but it still appears comfortable, an aspect that isn't always present in luxury homes. The property is gated and is made up of over a half acre, giving any owner plenty of room to get away from the busy Los Angeles city below. The Agency is handling the listing, promising that the home is filled with bright, open spaces that accommodate a large master suite and six and a half baths. The two-story entry hall is apparently used as a gym, which sounds awkward but if you're the type that needs to work out the moment you get home, it's a perfect location. Also included within the home is a home theater, cook's kitchen, a spa, and a swimmer's pool that's around 60 feet long (complete with underwater speakers because who knows how long you'll be under there). los angeles night view
The outdoor area has plenty of room to entertain friends, complete with a kitchen and sauna. According to The Agency, the home has "phenomenal indoor-outdoor flow," which can be seen from the floor to ceiling glass windows and doors that open to the patio.

Ryan Phillippe's home is on the market for $6,995,000 and is being handled by Billy Rose. For more information visit celebrity homes
