Since Bacchanal's inception, the event has raised $3 million to help fund PAFA's student scholarships and education programs. This vibrant support has been invested in the Philadelphia community and has helped promote art education. Since 1999, Bacchanal has been consistently recognized as a premier wine and auction event in the Philadelphia region and has garnered a national reputation.
Bacchanal will include wine tastings, silent and live auctions of unique items and travel destinations and gourmet dinner with a guest celebrity chef.
During Bacchanal, PAFA's prestigious Thomas Jefferson Award will be conveyed to honor four leading Pinot Noir producers from around the world.
Throughout the week preceding Bacchanal!, a series of exclusive gourmet winemaker dinners will take place in private homes, each pairing a distinguished Pinot Noir winemaker with a local celebrity chef.
Bacchanal is PAFA's flagship wine affair, raising up to $500,000 annually to support student scholarships and education programs. For more information you may contact Judite Morais, Director of Wine Events at 215-972-2037 or jmorais@pafa.org |
