The Annual Charlotte Fashion Week is the largest fashion event in North Carolina featuring more than twenty emerging designers from around the country and retailers such as Donna Karen NY, Gap Kids, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nitsa's Apparel who will show the season's latest designs in front of an eclectic audience of fashion enthusiasts, consumers and the media.
Charlotte Fashion Week will take place at the Pavilion inside the EpiCentre, one of Charlotte's premiere nightlife and entertainment complexes in Uptown. Surrounded by restaurants, nightlife and shopping, the EpiCentre will become "Fashion Week" central for the weekend and will be hosted by special celebrity guest and news personalities reporting from the Red Carpet.
The celebration kicks-off on Wednesday evening with a fundraiser hosted by the American Cancer Society benefiting Cure by Design. Runway shows will take place Thursday through Saturday and will feature everything from a children's show to sports wear and evening wear to beautiful one of a kind couture dresses and gowns and men's custom tailored suits. Only steps away following each show, live entertainment and swank after parties will take place at one or more of the EpiCentre lively night clubs. During the day, guest can visit select retail and restaurants to obtain in-store discounts and specials, including complimentary wine while you shop.
When it's time to rest, the Sierra Hotel, just two blocks away will pamper you with an ultra modern style and sophistication and with first class accommodations.
Charlotte Fashion Week is open to all general audiences 13 years of age and older.
