From its very beginnings, Jazz has been the sound-symbol of liberty: a sort of cultural melting pot which proposes a richer life through fusion and improvisation. It says, 'Let's work together!' This is "Jazz Appeal," personified by the likes of Bessie Smith, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Chet Baker and many other Jazz icons who found in Jazz their medium of self-expression.
We dedicate ourselves to the search for "Jazz Appeal:" the new aesthetic of a musical form which will last forever despite, or maybe because of its inherent contradictions. |
