The Atlanta Jazz Festival bills itself as "the nation's largest free jazz festival". Held in Piedmont Park each May, the event has hosted some of the greatest names in jazz.
Miles Davis headlined in 1983, with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Al Jarreau, Chick Corea and Nina Simone following in later years. |
