The Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina is home to the annual Wachovia Championship on the US PGA Tour and holds a purse of US$6.5 million.
The Wachovia Championship moved to Washington DC in 1979, but returned to North Carolina in 2003. David Toms was the winner that year, despite a quadruple-bogey eight on the final hole.
