Located a short 20-minute drive North from Downtown Santa Barbara, The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara is a Mediterranean-inspired retreat set against a backdrop of golden beaches and lush mountains. Nestled in the Gaviota Coast, the resort spans 78 waterfront acres and features 358 guest rooms and suites, three salt-water infinity pools, two natural beaches, lush gardens and a collection of premier amenities. Set along a two-mile natural beach, the resort puts the Pacific Ocean as the focus from nearly every point of this luxury hotel: restaurants overlook it, the spa is inspired by it and event spaces frame it beautifully.

With a selection of five room types and five suite options, each selection captures the vibrancy of Santa Barbara and the elegance of the Mediterranean. While select accommodations include outdoor spaces which offer ocean, garden or courtyard views, their most opulent accommodation is the 3,700 square-foot two-story Ritz Carlton Villa. With the ability to comfortably sleep five adults, the villa features two master bedrooms, a dining room, office and kitchenette, two ocean-view terraces and more. Like other rooms and suites on the property, guests will have access to luxurious Asprey bath amenities, full marble bathrooms and soft Frette linens.

Home to seven culinary venues, each dish or drink served features the same side, a breathtaking ocean view. Their signature restaurant Angel Oak is a traditional steakhouse with a modern twist and is home to the resort’s 12,000-bottle wine collection. Set off the resort’s grand lobby, Bacara Bar is perfect for a light snack, pre-dinner drink with a shareable plates menu which are paired with specialty cocktails, wines and spirits. The Bistro is a more casual spot which features items from local farmers and sustainable seafood sources either inside or on the patio alongside the wood-burning fireplace and enhanced heating system.

Adjacent to The Bistro, the Pool Bar is open 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers an ideal menu for guest’s enjoying a day out in the sun from frozen drinks, fresh salad, chips and guacamole, pizza or fish tacos. The resort’s coffee shop Blend offers a selection of coffee, espresso and tea beverages, smoothies, fresh pastries and soft-serve ice cream perfect for a quick morning pick-me-up prior to a fun day ahead. Set amid a luxurious, intimate setting, the Foley Food & Wine Society (FFWS) Wine Tasting Room offers a unique tasting experience to their 12,000-bottle cellar.
