Polpetto opened in 2010 and originally occupied the first floor of the French House pub on Dean Street. The restaurant attracted critical praise and gained a massive following of fans but the venue proved to be too small, the restaurant’s 24 seats were always overbooked. It closed in May 2012 and reopened a year later on Berwick Street.

The newer venue boasts 60 seats, an aperitivo bar, an open kitchen and a chef’s table. A carefully-curated wine list provides picture perfect pairings for the cuisine.
