The Santa Monica pier is filled with activities for children of all ages. There is enough things to do and watch to tire out everyone. There is an entire amusement park on the pier. While it is scaled down to what could fit on a pier, there is still plenty to offer from the Pacific Wheel Ferris Wheel, West Coaster roller coaster, bumper cars and more! All of this and free admission. Visit the Playland Arcade for video games galore or get your fortune read by fortune teller. Take a whirl on the Looff Hippodrome carousel, which was originally built in 1916. Visit the local residents at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. Get up close and personal in the touch tanks.
