New Orleans Things To Do: This insectarium, operated by the Audubon Nature Institute, is located within the U.S. Custom House and encourages the exploration of the senses by visitors. Shrink to bug size to experience life as an insect, take a journey through a Louisiana swamp, or get lost among the butterflies in the Asian garden.
For the adventurous, there is the Bug Appetit exhibit where bugs are prepared by master bug chefs and offered up to daring palates.
